What authors visit the Grimsby Author Series? 

The Grimsby Author Series welcomes critically-acclaimed, award-winning, and internationally recognized authors from across all genres. Each season is different, but our authors are usually Canadian, or live in Canada, and have recently released a new work. They are often seen on bestseller lists across the country. How many events take place in a season? And when?

There are six events throughout the year, three in the spring and three in the fall. The fall season usually takes place in September, October, and November, and the spring season takes place in March, April and May. Go to About the Series to learn more about what happens at Grimsby Author Series events.

How will I know if an event has been cancelled?

Before heading out to the event, please check Facebook and Instagram for event cancellations. If the Library cancels an event due to extreme weather or author illness, we will do our best to spread the word with as much notice as possible.
